Residents choose to live in St. Albert for a variety of reasons. As a 45-year resident, my reasons are many but at the top of the list is the fact that our community has developed with thought and consideration for all interests.
We have sports facilities, art galleries, gathering places, a library, parks and playgrounds. Our Art in Public Places is beautiful and enjoyed by many people. Now we have the Steinhauer stone sculptures. I appreciate the foresight shown by city council to purchase this art and admire the many St. Albert residents who spoke in favour of the purchase at the council meeting.
These pieces are a visual legacy for present and future generations.
