Alberta Health Services may be poor in health and in dire need of resuscitation but the staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital are rich in love, care and compassion.
From the security person at the front door of the hospital to the nurses, respiratory technicians, chaplain, cleaning staff, social worker and physicians in the intensive care unit (ICU), our family received exceptional care last week when a family member was a patient in the ICU.
Residents of St. Albert and surrounding area, you can be very proud of your hospital. I would encourage you to support the hardworking staff by being vigilant to ensure Alberta Health Services funds the hospital to maintain the excellent level of care the staff currently provide.
