I’ve followed the activities of city council over the years and I’ve been looking for a candidate who has business experience and has voluntarily served and contributed to our community over the years.
Malcolm had many professional years in the corporate sector before his retirement and offered his business expertise during many years of volunteer activity including, but not restricted to, the following:
• Co-hosted Regional Economic Development Symposium
• Chair, St. Albert economic development advisory committee, three years
• Chair, Northern Alberta Business Incubator, three years
• Chair, St. Albert tourism committee, five years
• Active member of various St. Albert Chamber of Commerce committees
• President, St. Albert Men’s Slow-Pitch Association, 13 years
His volunteer service and commitment to our community is exemplary! That’s why I support Malcolm Parker — we need a new voice on council.
