Atom jamboree

Sunday’s atom jamboree in Spruce Grove marked the end of the season for the Buccaneers, Jaguars and Vikings in the Capital District Minor Football Association.

• The Buccaneers were shutout 21-0 by Wetaskiwin Warriors Gold despite a near touchdown by Daniel Talaber and quality rushing yards from Sophia Rees and Cameron Foster.

Ayden Maki and Lincoln Foster also produced key plays defensively.

• The Jaguars and Camrose Buffaloes Red battled to a 14-14 draw as the game ended with the St. Albert squad at the Camrose 11-yard line.

The Anderberg twins, Alexander and Nicholas, played big roles on both sides of the ball.
