A critical and important election issue is missing from the dialogue with Candidates in the current Federal election.

With limited days remaining and few new ideas likely to be heard in the repetitive political narratives from our national leaders, I would like to offer, as a Canadian citizen, a whisper within the current political din.

In my neighbourhood, Heritage Lakes, it seems to be Gregory Springate's Liberal signs that disappear. At the corner of Hudson and Levasseur, at least 8 signs have come and gone.

It's obvious that august "special" Gazette contributor Brian McLeod is not a fan of Mr. Trudeau; I agree with many of his reasons for holding that opinion.

It may be that I write too many letters for some tastes, but I am motivated by the democratic belief that ordinary citizens should become informed of events and express disapproval of what they consider undemocratic ideas and legislation.

I fear that the public is not focused on what should be the number one priority in our elections: honesty.

The other day on my weekly pilgrimage to Costco, I witnessed a scene that happens all too often in our society. My cart was quite a ways back in the train waiting to pay.
